Siege Chess

High Scores

Order by

Score counts wins and how deep each siege ran, weighted to recent games. The 10 min, 5 min and 3 min columns give the deepest par survived on each clock; Duel gives the longest duel (a retired mode — banked records stand). ELO is the site's own estimate from results against the machine, "p" while provisional. A badge won in a single game links to that game.

How the score works

Win points. Each siege win is worth its difficulty: value = 10 × 5(par−20)/20 — so par 15 ≈ 6.7, par 20 = 10, par 30 ≈ 22, par 40 = 50, par 50 ≈ 112. Every extra 20 moves of par is worth exactly 5×. Multiplied by the clock: No Timer ×0.8, 10 min ×1.0, 5 min ×1.1, 3 min ×1.2, Avalanche ×1.4.

Recency. Everything decays linearly to zero over 180 days (half credit at 90). The board measures form; stopping play slides you off it. Badges themselves never disappear — only their pull on the ranking fades.

Volume. 12 × (decayed win count)0.85 — many recent wins beat one lucky deep one.

Duel. 2.5 × the win-value of your longest duel (counted between 5 and 60 moves), decayed like everything else. Duel itself retired on 2026-08-04 — existing records keep their badge forever and their score pull until it decays.

Feats. One-off badges (mates, streaks, purity runs) carry 10–90 points each, tarnish with age to 35% of their worth, and are capped at 150 total — a museum, not an engine.

Badges

Score reflects recent play and decays. Badges do not.
